The vineyard surrounds a historic Victorian home that was built in the late 1850’s by the Ross family who grew grapes, apples, and peaches on the property before it became a bustling stagecoach station from 1904 to 1984. It is located at the historic Coffe Ranch above Chesbro Reservoir. Tasting Room Hours: Every third weekend: 12pm-4:30pm. In a rustic red barn overlooking southern-exposed slopes, Ross Vineyards is a family-owned and operated vineyard and winery. Ross Vineyards participated at the Santa Clara Valley Fall Passport Weekend event this year, and that is how I stumbled upon it.
