Cheese and Onion Bread.

Cooking Light simplified it by using yogurt instead of sourdough starter. The kitchen smells just incredible when this bread is baking.

I've reworked it for the bread machine.

This is a great onion bread recipe for bread machines. 1 1/8 C. Water 4 1/4 C. Bread Flour 1 Tbsp.

Bake according to bread machine directions (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of water or flour if needed). It made a big, beautiful and fragrant loaf.
