Directed by David Yarovesky. Brightburn looks like a horror/sci-fi comic book origin story, and that’s an appealing mashup. Like this trailer straight up irritated me at how much it took from Superman, the WB, and DC Comics. Brightburn obviously straddles two genres: superhero and horror. "The fun of this movie was always where superhero and horror meet, like, the corner of that street," Yarovesky said.
